This instantly gained her media recognition. The relationship she has had to Estee Lauder has been the highlight of Hurley's career. The first time Hurley was a model, she started her career at Estee Lauder, when she was just 29 years old. The model has been a model since the year 1995 for the company's products, particularly perfumes like Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures. In the popular spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1998), Hurley played Vanessa Kensington. Hurley has been a model for and creates his own line of beachwear. Katy Perry..........................Katy Perry original name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, (born October 25 1984 Santa Barbara California U.S.) American pop singer who gained fame for a string of anthemic and often sexually suggestive hit songs as well as for a playfully cartoonish sense of style. Perry's first attempts to make it in mainstream music were unsuccessful. Perry was signed to two different labels, and later dropped by them before the release of any music. Capitol Records, however, issued Perry's Ur So Gay album in 2007 which was received with moderate success for the album's title track. Perry made more of a splash a few months later, with the track I Kissed a Girl an assertive ode to sexual curiosity backed by a sharp electronic-pop beat. I Kissed a Girl was an immediate hit, however it soon sparked controversy. Many critics argued that the track promoted same-sex sexual relations while others said the scenario the song depicted attracted more male fantasies. I Kissed a Girl, the combination of excitement with a sophisticated tune, allowed I Kissed a Girl to be a top-rated hit in many countries and drive the sales of her album One of the Boys. Hot N Cold, Perry's lively and sharply-tongued album that included the song that was its second biggest hit proved popular. The album Perry wrote by herself sold more than three million copies.
